French Tutor

Job Description
Overview
We are looking for a French tutor that will be working with young students from Grades 1 to 10. We teach students of all levels in that age range including French Immersion and IB students. As a tutor, you will not be expected to establish a new curriculum, as we will provide you with one and calibrate it together, to match your teaching style and the student's learning style.
Duties
- Provide French tutoring lessons one-on-one and in classes of maximum three (3) students in the indicated grade range
- Assist students with homework assignments and test preparation.
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly - again, in collaboration with our teaching head.
- Create a positive and supportive learning environment to enhance students' academic performance.
- Be patient, supportive and attentive to students' needs and exceptionalities
Requirements
- Proficiency in French
- Experience working with children or young students in an educational setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Prior tutoring experience is a plus.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
