is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic

Part-Time French Teacher

to join our team. As a teacher at Scholars, you will have the opportunity to positively impact students of all ages and skill levels, helping them develop proficiency in the French language. We take pride in delivering results that matter, and our teachers play a key role in this journey. The successful candidate will be trained on Scholars' unique teaching methodology and will be confident teaching French to students of varying levels, from beginner to advanced.

Here's what we're looking for:

Alberta Teaching Certificate

is preferred. Candidates in

Teacher's College

or pursuing a

university designation

in French or Education are also encouraged to apply. Previous experience working with students is an asset.

Fluent French

(oral and written) with excellent communication skills. A passion for teaching and helping students reach their full potential. Exceptionally organized, with a strong attention to detail. Ability to teach small groups (up to 3 students) and adapt lessons for various age groups and learning levels. Comfort teaching French in all aspects: reading, writing, listening, speaking, and cultural studies. Ability to tailor lessons to meet individual student needs and learning styles.

Availability:

Candidates must be able to work a minimum of two shifts per week within our hours of operation below:

Monday - Friday

: 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Saturday

: 9:00 am - 1:00 pm
