Now Hiring: French Tutor (Adult Language Training)

Calgary, Alberta

Learn and Talk, an English and language preparation centre based in Calgary, is seeking a qualified, patient, and dedicated French Tutor to teach adult learners whose first language is not French.

Work Schedule

Flexible teaching hours: morning, afternoon, or evening Part-time position (1-2 batches per day) with potential to transition into full-time

Compensation

$25 - $28.50 per hour, depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

Design and deliver structured French language lessons for adult learners Assess student progress through tests, quizzes, and evaluations Assign and review homework and practice materials Adapt teaching methods to suit diverse learning needs Maintain a calm, supportive, and professional classroom environment

Candidate Requirements

Strong communication and instructional skills Patience and the ability to work with adult learners at varying proficiency levels Prior experience teaching French or adult language training is an asset
Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $25.00-$28.50 per hour
