Do you love sharing your passion for the French language? We're looking for reliable and enthusiastic French instructors to provide private and semi-private lessons to learners of all ages. Classes are held locally in

Kitchener or Waterloo

, making this a great opportunity for teachers who enjoy flexible, in-person work.

Your Role

Deliver fun and interactive French lessons for 1-7 students at a time. Adapt lessons to fit individual learning goals and proficiency levels. Encourage student confidence through engaging activities and conversation practice. Provide short weekly updates to parents or adult learners on progress. Assign meaningful homework or review exercises as needed. Support students preparing for exams or improving school grades.

What You Bring

Excellent French communication skills (near-native or native fluency). Good English communication skills for parent/student updates. Eligible to work in Canada and currently living in

Kitchener or Waterloo

. Reliable transportation to travel to homes, cafes, or libraries for lessons. Previous teaching or tutoring experience is an advantage but not required.

1-10 hours weekly (based on student demand)

Pay:

$26/hour for one-on-one lessons $28/hour for one-on-two lessons $30/hour for group lessons

Location:

50 Ottawa St South, Kitchener

Typical Schedule:

Weekday evenings and weekends. Teachers choose which time slots they want to commit to. Once a commitment has been made to teach a class, a teacher commits to teach that class for 10 weeks.
