We are looking for an experienced and passionate
French teacher
who can teachin Mandarin
. The ideal candidate will be comfortable teaching bothadults and children
, using engaging and interactive methods to make French learning enjoyable and effective.Responsibilities:
Teach French language classes to both adult and child learners, using Mandarin as the medium of instruction. Develop lesson plans and learning materials tailored to different age groups and proficiency levels. Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback. Communicate effectively with students and, when applicable, with parents.
Requirements:
Proficiency in
French
(native or near-native level). Fluency inMandarin Chinese
(required for teaching and communication). Prior teaching experience, ideally with both adults and children. Strong communication and classroom management skills. Ability to work independently and design engaging lessons.Preferred Qualifications:
Teaching certification in French (e.g., FLE or equivalent). Experience teaching in bilingual or language immersion settings.
Schedule:
Daytime availability
is required. Flexibility to occasionally teach outside of standard hours (optional).Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 2 - 10 per week
