We are seeking a passionate and dedicated

French Teacher

to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about language instruction and experienced in working with children from Kindergarten to Grade 8. This role involves planning and delivering engaging French lessons that promote language development in a fun, supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver interactive French lessons tailored to students' grade levels and language abilities Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and learning Create lesson plans and activities that align with curriculum goals and language learning outcomes Track student progress and adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs Communicate regularly with parents and program coordinators about student development and classroom activities Maintain a safe, organized, and engaging learning environment

Qualifications:

Proficiency in French; strong communication skills in English Experience teaching French to children in a classroom or tutoring setting Ability to prepare and deliver age-appropriate lesson content Reliable, responsible, and patient with a passion for teaching young learners Strong classroom management and organizational skills

Preferred Assets:

Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT) or Early Childhood Education (ECE) certification Familiarity with the Ontario French curriculum or experience teaching French immersion students Ability to work at both Markham and North York locations Availability during weekday afternoons and/or weekends

Pay: $23.00-$30.00 per hour
