Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated French Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for students. This role involves teaching French language skills to children, utilizing various instructional methods to engage students and enhance their understanding of the language and culture.

Duties

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students. Educate students on the fundamentals of the French language, including vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, and cultural context. Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) to track student progress and provide additional resources for learning. Create a supportive classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for language learning. Provide tutoring support for students needing extra assistance in mastering French concepts. Collaborate with special education staff to adapt lessons for students with varying abilities and needs. Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and classroom activities. Conduct proofreading of educational materials to ensure accuracy and appropriateness for student use. Maintain an organized classroom that promotes a conducive learning atmosphere.

Skills

Strong foundation in early childhood education principles. Proficiency in using Learning Management Systems (LMS) for lesson planning and tracking student performance. Experience in tutoring or providing individualized support to students. Knowledge of special education practices is a plus. Ability to integrate math concepts into language instruction when applicable. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues. Experience working with children in an educational setting is essential. Strong organizational skills to maintain an effective classroom environment.
