Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated French Speaking Teacher to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children in a daycare setting, and must have excellent communication skills, both in English and French.

This role involves creating engaging lesson plans, promoting social and emotional development, and ensuring the safety and well-being of all students.

Requirements

Early Childhood Education Diploma - Must be a Level 2 or 3 Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in English, verbal in French Experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting is essential. Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and inspire young learners. Bilingual proficiency in English and French is highly desirable. Proficient in using technology for educational purposes (computer literacy). Ability to create engaging educational materials that cater to diverse learning styles. A genuine love for working with children and a commitment to their development.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that stimulate children's learning and development. Educate children in various subjects, including language, math, science, and social skills. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster a supportive community. Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents on their child's development. Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity. Maintain accurate records of each child's progress and behavior. Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall learning experience. Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
