Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable French Math Specialist to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mathematics and fluency in French, with the ability to effectively teach and communicate complex concepts to students.

Develop and deliver engaging lessons in mathematics tailored to students' levels, integrating French language instruction when applicable Create instructional materials, exercises, and assessments that promote critical thinking and problem-solving skills Provide individualized support and tutoring to help students improve their understanding of mathematical concepts Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to encourage continuous improvement Foster a positive learning environment that motivates students and enhances their confidence in both math and French language skills Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum plans and share best practices Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and participation

Skills

Must be

very familiar with Ontario French Curriculum

Have

very good patient and passion to

teach French to students Fluency in French, with excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong proficiency in mathematics, including algebra, geometry, calculus, or relevant advanced topics Prior teaching or tutoring experience is preferred but not required; passion for education is essential Ability to explain complex concepts clearly and effectively to diverse learners Patience, adaptability, and enthusiasm for fostering student engagement Organizational skills to manage lesson planning and student assessments effectively Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
