About the Role:



We are seeking a passionate and dedicated French Language Teacher to join our dynamic academic team. The ideal candidate will be an expert in delivering comprehensive French language instruction, with a proven track record of successfully preparing students for the DELF (Diplome d'Etudes en Langue Francaise) examinations. Your primary responsibility will be to develop students' linguistic competencies to achieve certification, fostering a deep appreciation for the French language and culture.

Key Responsibilities:



Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality, engaging French lessons for various levels (A1 to B2, or as required). Develop and implement a curriculum specifically designed to prepare students for the DELF/DALF examinations, focusing on all four key skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Integrate authentic materials and communicative teaching methodologies to create an immersive learning environment. Regularly assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual learner needs. Administer and grade mock DELF exams, providing students with targeted strategies for success. Stay updated with the latest formats, requirements, and best practices for the DELF/DALF exams as defined by France Education International. Foster a positive, inclusive, and motivating classroom atmosphere.

Required Qualifications and Experience:



Native or near-native proficiency in French (C2 level according to the CEFR). A Bachelor's degree in French Language, Education, Linguistics, or a related field.

In-depth, demonstrable familiarity with the DELF/DALF exam structure, scoring criteria, and methodology.

Minimum of 3 years of experience teaching French as a foreign language. Proven experience in preparing students for the DELF examinations.

Preferred Qualifications (What will make you stand out):



Official certification as a DELF/DALF Examiner or Accredited Trainer.

A Master's degree in a relevant field. Strong technological skills and experience with digital learning platforms and tools.

Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $27.85-$35.29 per hour
