Duties & Responsibilities

Develop and deliver comprehensive French lesson plans for levels

A1 to B1

Teach

in-person or virtual

classes and facilitate engaging, interactive sessions Prepare students for

TEF Canada

, including speaking, listening, reading, and writing practice Assess student progress through assignments, quizzes, and performance evaluations Provide constructive feedback and personalized support to help students succeed Create a positive and motivating learning environment that supports diverse learning styles Maintain accurate records of attendance, evaluations, and curriculum progress Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching strategies and course content Stay updated on TEF Canada exam trends and effective language-teaching methods Offer mentorship and guidance to students beyond scheduled class hours when appropriate

Requirements

Advanced fluency in French (native or near-native proficiency) Strong knowledge of

TEF Canada

exam structure and preparation techniques Proven experience in teaching, tutoring, or language training Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Relevant teaching certifications (e.g., FSL, DELF/DALF, FLE) are an asset Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to adapt teaching approaches to various learning styles Experience with online teaching platforms (Zoom, Google Meet, etc.) is a plus Must be punctual, reliable, and committed to creating a supportive learning environment
