We are currently seeking an experienced French Instructor to join our expanding language training team.

Position Overview:


We are seeking a passionate French teacher capable of delivering dynamic and engaging

in-person

classes for beginner through intermediate-level learners (A1-B2 levels). Ideal candidates must be skilled in creating dynamic, communicative lessons based on TCF/TEF testing principles that focus on real-life communication and application.

Key Responsibilities:



Deliver engaging, in-person French language classes Plan and deliver interactive lessons covering speaking, reading, writing, and listening proficiency. Create and grade formative/summative assessments, quizzes, and homework assignments efficiently. Provide timely, constructive, and individualized feedback to students to support progress. Adapt teaching methods to suit various learning styles, levels, and backgrounds. Monitor student attendance, participation, and academic progress accurately. Maintain a positive, inclusive, and motivating classroom environment. Collaborate with academic staff to ensure instructional quality and program consistency.

Qualifications & Requirements:



Minimum 2 years of professional, in-person French teaching experience.


Formal Education/Certification (One of the following is required):



Bachelor's Degree or higher in French, Education or a related discipline. Recognized French teaching certification (e.g., DELF/DALF/TEF Examiner qualification, TELF, or equivalent teaching certification with a French focus). Strong command of the French language (native or near-native proficiency preferred). Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.

Availability:

Must be able to teach on-site at our Surrey campus during scheduled daytime and/or evening hours (no remote work options available).
