We are looking for a Bilingual French Payroll Specialist to join our leading client. This is a full time permanent position located in the Mississauga area. As the Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for;

• Oversee and process bi-weekly hourly and salary payroll processing for Canadian locations
• Multi-province payroll processing
• Processes benefit enrollments, changes, and termination for all benefit plans
• guidance to employees regarding all benefit related matters.
• Lead payroll Year End process; preparation of T4s
• Prepare payroll reports for HR and Finance
• Monitor payroll inbox and respond to employee and manager queries
• Audit payroll processes to ensure data integrity
• Review and recommend improvements to existing payroll procedures
• Handle human resource inquiries for the Mississauga location
• Support HR team with recruitment activities, onboarding and orientation and employee relations activities

Requirements:

• Minimum 3-5 years of full cycle payroll experience; multi-province and Quebec payroll experience highly desired
• Experience utilizing payroll software such as ADP WFN or Ceridian Dayforce
• Strong MS Excel skills; knowledge of VLOOKUPS and Pivot Tables
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and French
• Strong interpersonal skills and customer service focused
• Experience handling confidential business matters and information with discretion
• Payroll Compliance Practitioner Certificate or in progress of completion is required
