About the Role
We are looking for an experienced
Freight Broker
to join our growing logistics team in Fredericton, New Brunswick. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics and customer service, with excellent organizational and communication skills.
As a Freight Broker, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining effective relationships with carriers and customers, negotiating rates, coordinating shipments, and ensuring exceptional service from pickup to delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Source, negotiate, and manage freight shipments with carriers and customers
Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and carrier partners
Coordinate logistics operations to ensure on-time delivery and cost efficiency
Track shipments, resolve issues, and communicate proactively with clients
Maintain accurate records and documentation of freight movements
Collaborate with internal teams to support business growth and customer satisfaction
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics, freight brokerage, or transportation coordination
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Customer-focused attitude with strong problem-solving skills
Proficient with logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite
