Freight Bill Entry (temporary Position)

Job Description
Armour is currently recruiting a Freight Bill Entry Clerk in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia, to assist and cover terminal Employees.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Providing clear communication to drivers, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary paperwork and information to complete their jobs successfully.
- Enter freight bills in an accurate and timely manner from a variety of mediums
- Printing and preparing documentation for our operations team
- Freight bill entry coding
- Monitor the Data Entry Email
- Scanning documents
- Detail orientated and self-motivated
- Alpha and Numeric Keyboarding /typing skills 40wpm + accurately
- Ability to prioritize and effectively handle changing priorities
- Ability to work well within a team
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Self-motivated with analytical decision-making skills.
- Transportation Industry experience
- Knowledge of Atlantic Canada geographical points would be an asset
- Understanding Truckmate system considered a strong asset
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, with the ability to prepare reports in Word and Excel.
