Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by performing various tasks related to inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping and receiving. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Perform order picking and packing with accuracy to fulfill customer orders. Load and unload shipments from trucks, ensuring proper handling of goods. Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently. Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and manage stock. Assist in shipping and receiving processes, including verifying incoming and outgoing shipments. Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment to promote safety and efficiency. Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure stock accuracy. Build pallets for storage or shipment as required.

Experience

Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with order picking, shipping, and receiving processes is beneficial. Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts or cranes is a plus. Knowledge of warehouse management systems can enhance efficiency in daily tasks. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the shift. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for success in this role.
