This position will operate on a remote, freelance basis. Must be located in the US or Canada (and be available during EST hours).

Valnet Inc. is on the lookout for an innovative and process-oriented Freelance Recruiter to help with sourcing and onboarding across multiple technology brands within our company and their remote teams. These brands include , , and .

This person will be the go-to resource for finding and onboarding qualified writers and editors for important Valnet initiatives within our tech brands. What you will be doing:

• Source potential candidates (writer & editors) from other tech sites/blogs on the web.
• Reach out to potential candidates through cold emails, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.
• Screen applications for various freelance roles using our applicant tracking system.
• Track and fill requests for new remote contributors.
• Ensure new hires adhere to Valnet Editorial standards.
• Investigate new ways to source qualified candidates.
• Work collaboratively with the managing editors, legal, and HR resources.
• Lead freelance talent sourcers.

What you need to succeed:

• Interest in Valnet\'s brands and content - specifically our Tech brands.
• Ability to multitask, set priorities, and meet multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work effectively on a team and independently.
• Excellent communication, project management, and organizational skills.
• Extremely detail-oriented.
• Highly motivated and possesses a go-getter attitude.

Hours:
40 hours of services per week

Payment Range:
$50,000 to $60,000 annually
