We're looking for a passionate and self-driven Personal Trainer, Strength Coach, or Kinesiologist to join our private training facility in Guelph during evening hours. This is a unique opportunity to grow your own in-person client base and operate independently in a premium, well-equipped training studio -- without the noise and crowd of commercial gyms.
You'll have access to high-quality strength & conditioning equipment, full autonomy over your training methods, and the flexibility to build your schedule around your clients. Whether you're an experienced coach or a newer trainer ready to take the next step, this is a supportive, professional environment designed to help you grow.
What's Included:
Private access to a fully equipped strength-focused training facility
Flexible evening availability (exact hours negotiable)
Rent model tailored to your usage and schedule
Professional space to deliver 1-on-1 or small group training
Potential for internal client referrals (based on fit and performance)
Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality, individualized or small-group strength training sessions to your own clients
Maintain a safe, clean, and professional training environment at all times
Operate independently -- schedule, bill, and manage your own client relationships
Respect shared space policies and evening time slot availability
Communicate promptly regarding booking changes, cancellations, or conflicts
Represent yourself and the studio professionally in all client interactions
Expectations:
You bring your own clientele (this is not a staff trainer position)
Minimum current certification (e.g. CPT, CSCS, CSEP-CPT, R.Kin, etc.)
Current CPR/First Aid certification
Valid liability insurance
Professional conduct -- no sales pressure, no gimmicks
Comfortable training clients in a strength-focused setting (barbells, free weights, functional equipment)
Committed to showing up on time, respecting shared equipment, and supporting a positive, professional coaching culture
What We're Looking For:
Certified Personal Trainer, Kinesiologist, or Strength Coach
Insured, CPR/First Aid certified, and registered to work as an independent contractor in Ontario
Strong communication and coaching skills
Professional, reliable, and eager to grow in the field
Comfortable working independently and managing your own clientele
