Job Description

Position: Freelance Graphic Designer for Paramount Publishing (gtrmag.com and pax-intl.com)

If you are a creative individual with a passion for design and a strong portfolio showcasing your skills, we would love to hear from you. The work mainly consists of print/digital magazine design.

Must have experience in MAGAZINE or BOOK editorial design.

- Create visually appealing graphics, illustrations, and layouts for various digital and print media
- Design and produce marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, banners, and social media graphics
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in graphic design
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design projects are completed on time and meet the desired objectives
- Utilize design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign to create high-quality designs
- Optimize designs for web and mobile platforms

- Have 5+ years of experience

- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field
- Proven experience as a Graphic Designer or in a similar role
- Proficient in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
- Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and layout principles
- Knowledge of web design technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Familiarity with content management systems like Drupal and SharePoint
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

Pay: $35-$40/hour
