The Company

Our client is an ad agency based in Toronto and they are looking for a Freelance Copywriter to support on a short term project. The project is expected to be roughly 20-30 hours over the span of 3 weeks.

The Position

The Freelance Copywriter will be writing short form copy for a B2C retailer client. The Copywriter will be creating copy for mobile apps, web, social media, and short headlines. The ideal candidate must have superb linguistic and grammar skills to be considered.

Responsibilities:
- Form creative concepts and write engaging copy for advertising and marketing campaigns
- Develop copy for internal and external promotional materials
- Prepare fresh/hip ad copy for a young target audience

- 3-5+ years of experience as a Creative Copywriter
- Agency experience preferred
- Strong short form writing samples for a young target audience
- Exceptional creative writing, editing and proofreading skills
- Highly detail-oriented, organized and thorough
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
