We're looking for freelance copywriters to craft high-quality, clear, creative written content to effectively communicate key messages, ideas, and information tailored for target audiences.
Media will include donor and corporate communications, direct mail, newsletters, letters, reports, brochures, invitations, email marketing, websites, newspaper ads, social media, and personal stories. Experience with fundraising and conducting interviews is helpful. Sparkling copy is a must!
Collaborating with the Director, Marketing & Communications and the Content Manager, freelance writers will:
Execute writing assignments start-to-finish: gather requirements, source material, generate creative ideas, interview subject matter experts, gather feedback, make revisions, and ensure writing meets project objectives and deadlines
Maintain and adhere to brand guidelines, ensuring copy is high-quality and aligns with the brand's voice, values, and style guide
Proofread and edit copy to ensure it's clear, concise, and easy to understand, with language and tone tailored to the specific medium and target audience. Review work for grammar, punctuation, and clarity. Ensure that all content is error-free before publication.
