Franchise Development Manager
to lead our growth strategy and bring the Pizzaiolo experience to new markets.
Role Overview
The
Franchise Development Manager
is responsible for driving franchise growth by identifying new opportunities, recruiting qualified franchisees, and supporting the expansion of our brand into new and existing markets. This is a strategic, high-impact role that works cross-functionally with leadership, operations, marketing, and real estate teams.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end franchise development process from lead generation to franchise agreement signing
Identify, engage, and evaluate potential franchisees through discovery calls, interviews, and financial assessments
Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline using CRM tools and reporting dashboards
Collaborate with the real estate team to secure prime locations and support lease negotiations
Work closely with marketing to create targeted campaigns and promotional materials to attract qualified leads
Partner with legal to manage disclosure documents, franchise agreements, and compliance processes
Create and maintain market expansion plans, including territory mapping and demographic analysis
Participate in franchise expos, webinars, and networking events to build brand visibility and grow the franchisee pipeline
Provide onboarding support and act as a key liaison during the transition to operations and training teams
Monitor and report on performance metrics, trends, and competitor activity to inform growth strategy
Develop best practices for franchise recruitment and continuously improve sales materials, playbooks, and processes
Qualifications
5-8 years of experience in franchise development, sales, or business development (QSR, foodservice, or multi-unit retail preferred)
Demonstrated success in franchise sales and lead conversion across multiple territories
Strong knowledge of the franchise sales lifecycle, franchise disclosure documents (FDD), and regulatory compliance
Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and pipeline management
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and influence at all levels
Understanding of site selection, lease negotiation, and market development processes
Highly organized, data-driven, and results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA or CFE designation is a plus)
Willingness to travel regionally to attend meetings, site visits, and industry events

Pay: $80,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
