We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry techniques and the ability to work with both hand and power tools. The Carpenter will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to interpret blueprints and schematics effectively.
Duties
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications.
Construct frameworks, structures, and fixtures using wood, plywood, and other materials.
Perform concrete forming for foundations and other structures as needed.
Operate heavy equipment safely when required for various tasks.
Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete carpentry projects.
Perform heavy lifting as necessary to transport materials and equipment on job sites.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
Skills
Proficient in blueprint reading and understanding technical drawings.
Ability to operate heavy equipment safely.
Skilled in using hand tools such as saws, hammers, drills, and levels.
Proficient with power tools including nail guns, sanders, and routers.
Strong understanding of building codes and safety regulations.
Capability for heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as required by project demands.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality craftsmanship.
