Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Wood Framing Carpenter to join our construction team. The ideal candidate has experience with residential and/or commercial framing, works well independently or with a crew, and takes pride in producing high-quality work safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

Construct, install, and repair wood framing for walls, floors, roofs, and other structural components Interpret blueprints, drawings, and project plans Measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials using hand and power tools Install windows, doors, sheathing, blocking, and hardware Ensure all work meets building codes and quality standards Operate tools and equipment safely and maintain a clean work area Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet project timelines Follow all safety protocols and company policies
Qualifications

Proven experience as a wood framing carpenter (2-5 years preferred) Strong knowledge of framing techniques and building codes Ability to read and interpret construction plans Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying weather conditions Reliable transportation and valid driver's license Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and teamwork skills
Preferred (but not required)

Experience with commercial framing OSHA 10/30 certification Ability to lead small crews

Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 35 per week
