Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and with the ability to build and finish various structures. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to read blueprints. The Carpenter will work on a variety of projects, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship while adhering to safety standards. person must be able to build walls, floors and roofs. the work is on custom homes and must have vehicl to get to job sites.

Duties

Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, walls, floors and trusses. Read and interpret blueprints. Utilize power tools safely and effectively for cutting, and nailing material. Engage in heavy lifting as required for transporting materials and equipment. Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project completion on time. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Skills

Proficient in building techniques with a strong understanding of carpentry principles. Experience with heavy lifting; physically capable of performing demanding tasks. Skilled in the use of power tools such as saws, drills, and sanders. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

8 hour shift Day shift Monday to Friday
