Summary:



The

FPP Project Logistics Assistant

supports project execution by validating inventory, coordinating hardware logistics, kitting multi-supplier materials, and configuring and testing video controllers for shipment or deployment. The role maintains inventory tracking systems, documents hardware movements, generates reports, and supports warehouse operations and configuration management. Daily collaboration with project management team ensures material readiness and on-time project delivery.

Candidates should have at least two years of related experience, strong organizational and communication skills, technical aptitude with AV hardware, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. The position involves both independent and team-based work, the ability to meet tight deadlines, and physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs.

The primary responsibilities and duties include but are not limited to:



Perform technical evaluation, inspection, and validation of incoming inventory to confirm readiness for deployment, shipment, and system integration.

Execute project kitting by aggregating hardware and components from multiple suppliers into a unified logistics and deployment workflow.

Configure, stage, and functionally test video controllers and related hardware to verify performance prior to shipment or installation.

Coordinate with project teams to ensure schedules, milestones, and technical delivery requirements are met.

Design, implement, and maintain inventory tracking systems to support accuracy, traceability, and lifecycle management of hardware assets.

Analyze inventory and material usage data to identify shortages, risks, and optimization opportunities.

Maintain precise technical records of daily shipments, receipts, and material movements.

Generate detailed operational reports covering inventory adjustments, configuration status, and stock levels.

Initiate and manage material and supply requests based on forecasted demand, engineering requirements, and system capacity constraints.

Train and onboard team members on technical processes, hardware handling, configuration procedures, and safety standards.

Provide technical and administrative support to engineering, project, and operations teams as required.

Execute assigned project tasks in alignment with defined technical requirements, and quality standards.

Ensure all projects adhere to established documentation standards, and configuration management practices.

Maintain Fine Pixel Pitch (FPP) warehouse operations, including labeling, hardware identification, and compliance with safety and quality policies.

Communicate daily with project management teams to align technical requirements, material readiness, and deployment timelines.

Perform additional engineering and operational responsibilities as assigned.

Academic Training:



Associate's degree in Electronics, AV Technology, or Logistics preferred.

Work Experience:



2 years of experience in a similar role

Work experience in a manufacturing environment an asset.

Specific Competencies:



Exceptional verbal, written skills.

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.

Technical aptitude and willingness to learn and troubleshoot AV-related hardware, including video controllers

Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Knowledge of file management and other administrative procedures.

Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management

Strong teamwork skills

Ability to work on tight deadlines.
