Our client is seeking an experienced FPGA Designer to join their R&D team working on the design and development of new technology for wireless communications.Our client is seeking an FPGA Designer to be part of their R&D team. The team will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing a technology for radio subsystems. The candidate for this role will be responsible for all aspects of FPGA development with design, implementation, simulation, validation and documentation.Description:

• Design, implement, and test IP blocks

• Work with your team to create new designs and help integrate IP across different platforms

• Collaborate with system architecture team on future designs

• Support Design Verification team

• Contribute to the scripts and CI/CD environments

Top Skills Required:1.) Experienced in the design, implementation, and testing new blocks for FPGA radio platforms2.) Working knowledge in System Verilog, Verilog, or VHDL3.) Proficient with git and scriptingAdditional Skills & Qualifications:

• 8+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience

• Wireless development or radio experience is a strong asset

• Knowledge of UVM/OVM is an asset

• Experience with Intel FPGA\'s is an asset

• Knowledge of MATLAB DSP implementation is an asset

Work Environment:

• 1-2 days a week on-site required.
