The company also specializes in refitting and refurbishing floatel vessels to fulfill requirements in a range of sectors from major construction projects to natural resources and energy production.

The Opportunity




The FP&A Analyst is responsible for providing meaningful insights that help shape business decisions and strategy across the Company.





Reporting to the Director, Finance Operations, the FP&A Analyst is a strong resource that supports creating value and influencing behavior through strategic and financial planning, forecasting, and creative analysis to derive insights.

Key Responsibilities:




Develop, maintain and update financial models and analytics to support the organization's financial decision-making Maintain and develop processes and procedures to ensure accurate and timely reporting Enhance, develop, and prepare financial reports, budgets, and forecasts in normal course, and on an ad-hoc basis to explore value-add opportunities identified Collaborate and communicate effectively within the FP&A team as well as other stakeholders Develop long-term strategic forecasting including scenario analysis Monitor and report on KPI performance, trends and variances Manage the development of new reporting tools and systems Identify and advise on potential risks and opportunities Evaluate opportunities to improve the efficiency and usability of financial reporting Explore opportunities to simplify and enhance current processes and deliverables Assist Director, Finance Operations, in long-term strategic forecasting including scenario analysis Manage and coordinate the preparation of ad-hoc analysis and reports



Qualifications:




Minimum 1-3 years in financial planning and analysis or field providing similar skillset Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field Advanced knowledge of financial modeling and analysis Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to derive meaning from financial data and communicate results Advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and Powerpoint Experience using a planning and budgeting application preferred Experience using reporting applications preferred Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to work under pressure Ability to develop strong working relationships and a team-first mentality Creative mindset to think outside the box and develop new solutions
