As the Formulation research scientist, you will develop robust, scalable, and stable formulations for sterile injectables and/or other specialized dosage forms.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the development of oral solid dosage forms or sterile injectable or other specialized dosage forms
- Understand and evaluate the innovator product, literature, IP landscape, formulation and process amongst other aspects to develop the product
- Author/prepare all documents as per all effective procedures
- Manufacture development lots as per GLP (good lab practices) and set up equipment as needed
- Interact with all stakeholders as needed during development and execution of tasks
- Create as needed, review and approve milestone batch records as per effective procedures
- Assist and monitors manufacturing of milestone batches
- Participate in regulatory, internal and client audits as an SME
- Follow all relevant safety and working procedures
- Tabulate and analyse data
- Contribute to process improvements initiatives
- Support additional activities as needed.
- In depth knowledge of development of sterile injectables and be familiar with GLP and GMP principles
- Knowledge of working principles of manufacturing equipment and techniques and understand best practices in pharmaceutical development and manufacturing

Experience : 5 years: 3-5 years of relevant industrial experience in development of novel, patentable dosage forms and/or sterile injectable dosage forms.
