Being relationship-focused matters to us and influences everything from being courteous and efficient, as well as ensuring a safe and incident-free delivery.About the RoleAs part of the Burnaby team, the Warehouse Worker/Forklift Operator will be working together with other team members to help assist our customers and crews daily. This opportunity will provide the right individual with a chance to be an effective problem solver while constantly reprioritize their tasks daily. Reporting to the Branch Manager & Operations Supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift, picking and building orders, loading trucks for deliveries, and reorganizing our yard to company standards.Some of the responsibilities include, but are not limited to:a~ Helping customers with their orders in a timely and professional manner;a~ Loading and unloading trucks in our yard efficiently;a~ Picking and packing customer orders;a~ Verifying picked orders and double-checking accuracy for loading;a~ Receiving, moving, and reorganizing material within our yard;a~ Complete pre and post trip inspections and cleaning tasks;a~ Advise supervisors on shortages and damaged goods;a~ General housekeeping duties in the warehouse and other tasks assigned.Our Must Havesa~ Prior experience within Construction or Building Supplies;a~ Valid BC Drivers License;a~ Physically fit and capable to lift and move up to 75 lbs;a~ Valid Forklift License;a~ Consent to pass pre-employment drug testing;a~ Good verbal and written communication.Rewards & CompensationAt Dryco, we offer a robust incentive package that is complemented by our companyaEUR(TM)s culture.
