Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shipper/Receiver to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the flow of goods in and out of our yard, ensuring that all shipments are processed accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, mechanical knowledge, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Duties

Receive incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders and packing slips. Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling products accurately. Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and manage order fulfillment. Operate forklifts and clamp trucks to move heavy items safely within the warehouse. Perform order picking tasks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Conduct regular inventory counts and assist in maintaining accurate stock levels. Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the shipping/receiving area. Collaborate with team members to meet daily shipping and receiving goals.

Experience

Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is preferred. Proficiency in operating forklifts and clamp trucks; certification is a plus. Familiarity with warehouse management systems for tracking inventory. Strong mechanical knowledge to assist with equipment maintenance as needed. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) safely and effectively. Basic math skills for accurate order processing and inventory management. Experience with order picking processes is highly desirable.

Pay: $19.63-$20.22 per hour

Schedule:

8 hour shift Day shift Monday to Friday On call Weekends as needed
