Conduct daily equipment inspections to ensure forklift is in optimal condition.
Operate forklift safely and efficiently in compliance with safety standards.
Transport materials to and from designated areas within the facility.
Load and unload materials onto and off trucks or storage areas.
Stack and organize materials in designated storage areas.
Assist in inventory control by keeping accurate records of materials moved.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
Follow all company policies and procedures related to forklift operation.
Participate in training sessions to maintain and improve forklift skills.
Assist in other tasks as needed to support production and warehouse operations.
Qualifications2+ years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in operating propane or electric counterbalance forklifts.
Experience with additional attachments such as rotator/clamp preferred.
Familiarity with inventory management systems or software.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
Good communication skills to interact with team members and supervisors effectively.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends if required.
Willingness to always adhere to company policies and procedures.
Demonstrated reliability and punctuality in previous roles.
Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a focus on safety.
Positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a collaborative team environment.
Employment DetailsSalary: $21.00HR - $24.00HR
Benefits: 40 hours weekly, Contract, Full-Time, Onsite
Schedule: 8:00AM to 5:00PM, Monday to Friday
Other: 6 months contract, possibility of extension or become permanent
