Job Description
We will be looking to hire a Paper Handler for our Preprint Facility in Scarborough. The roll of the paper handler includes both the transportation of the rolls to and from the Press area through the use of a motorized clamp truck and the manual set up of rolls in the Press unwind section. As both mechanical and manual operations are involved, the paper handler must operate safely in both functions. Basic Requirements and Functions:
- 3-5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in a manufacturing environment
- Must be able to work shifts as well as some extended hours
- Candidates should have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Qualified applicants will have very good interpersonal skills and problem solving skills
- Completion of daily lift truck inspection as required
- Engages in all activity related to press set up
