Shift:

Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday from 9:30 pm to 06:00 am.

Pay:

$25.20 an hour + Night Shift Premium

RESPONSIBILITES:

The Receiver is responsible for supporting the warehouses everyday operational activities and working on the warehouse dock. The Receiver is responsible for loading and unloading merchandise from the containers and ensuring the working area is clean, organized, and safe.



Assist in the preparation of picking and shipping schedules Load trucks according to the set schedule to ensure orders are shipped in a timely manner Communicate delays or issues in inbound and outbound merchandise to immediate supervisor Load and unload merchandise with appropriate forklift from the trucks Sort/segregate inbound case volume vs full pallet volume of floor loaded containers Sort/segregate inbound mixed pallet shipments from full loads Accurately identify inbound products, and expected case count, reconciling against inbound receiving document Must complete the required paperwork for the incoming and outgoing shipment. Plan and execute unload to minimize dock congestions Required to use computer workstation Required to use RF Handheld device Required to use sit down counterbalance forklift Must complete daily forklift pre-inspection sheets and submit to the supervisor Assist with the inventory by completing cycle counts Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

HEALTH & SAFETY:

1. Follow the Occupational Health and Safety Act including Safety, Violence and Harassment laws

2. Work in a healthy and safe manner following LIM's policies, procedures

3. Always wear or use protective equipment

4. Report any hazards you find in the workplace to your supervisor

5. Must not use or operate equipment in a manner that would endanger yourself or others

6. Must not put other workers at risk by your actions

EDUCATION:

Some High School, preferably a High School Diploma

EXPERIENCE:

At least 1-year warehouse experience operating material handling equipment Raymond Reach, Forklift, Walkie, Counter-Balance operator experience and certification with proven track record for safety Experience with a RF scanner Proven work experience using a computer keyboard, data accuracy with ability to read English Previous experience with an automated Warehouse Management System would be an asset

CORE COMPETENCIES:

Proven communication both written and verbal Must be capable of sitting, standing, lifting and walking for extended periods of time Service orientated with strong customer service skills and commitment to quality of work Good mathematical skills Able to lift, on average 50 lbs, repetitively and safely Strong team player, but also able to work effectively independently Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills - able to follow instructions Organized and shows strong attention to detail Experience with a WMS (Warehouse Management System) would be a definite asset
