As a Forklift Operator, the successful candidate will be responsible for operating material and handling equipment for the purpose of moving and loading materials and product in accordance with production and quality standards. Your day to day activities will include:

• Operate a forklift to load and unload trucks
• Careful handling of product to avoid damage
• Monitor inventory levels of product
• Complete trailer and container inspections
• Completion of shipping documents

Candidate must have flexible availability to allow coverage on short notice. The successful candidate should enter the position with the following qualifications:

• Valid forklift license, or ability to obtain
• Computer skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Macola, etc.)
• Experience with automated packing equipment an asset but not required
