Hourly Rate: $28.21 per hour (probationary rate will apply)
Monday to Friday 2pm-10pm

As a Forklift Operator, the successful candidate will be responsible for operating material handling equipment for the purpose of moving and loading materials and product in accordance with production and quality standards.

Your day to day activities will include:

• Operate a forklift to load and unload trucks
• Careful handling of product to avoid damage
• Using a ERP system to monitor inventory levels of product for proper selection
• Maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area
• Communicate and interact with carriers upon arrival via phone or face to face
• Must be able to work as a team with fellow co-workers
• Ability to safely lift and stack 25kg bags repetitively when needed
• Other duties as assigned

The successful candidate should enter the position with the following qualifications:

• Valid forklift license
• 1-2 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in a manufacturing/production environment is preferred
• Computer skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Macola, etc.)
• Ability to follow instructions in a competent manner with limited supervision
• Must be dependable, reliable, responsible and organized
• Ability to work overtime hours as needed
