Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate and experienced

Forest School Teacher

to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in outdoor education, a deep appreciation for nature-based learning, and strong leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

Facilitate engaging, outdoor, play-based learning experiences for children. Lead and support fellow educators in program decision-making. Assist in building community awareness of our programs through outreach and engagement. Help organize and participate in pop-up events to promote Forest School initiatives. Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment in outdoor settings.

Qualifications

Currently enrolled or graduated with a teaching degree, Forest School practitioner course, ECE, CYW, and/or significant experience in outdoor education or related fields Strong leadership and teamwork skills. Passion for nature-based learning and child-led education. Ability to work in various weather conditions. First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain) Passed Vulnerable Sector Check
