UCSH is looking for a full time

Material Handler/Production Staging Foreperson

position. This is an onsite position in our Port Coquitlam location.

WHAT'S THE JOB ABOUT?

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Material Handler/Production Staging Foreperson position is responsible to oversee the hardware itemizing department in completing their tasks in a more efficient manner. The ideal candidate will oversee and assist in day to day operations within the itemizing department.

Some of the work you will do, but not limited to:

Locating, pulling, labelling and setting up of hardware for Production Department in preparing for door installations. Prepare outgoing shipments of material to job sites Maintain and update accurate inventory records Organize hardware itemizing department to optimize space utilization Attend weekly production meeting and share ideas among the team Other duties as assigned

WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE LIKE YOU WHO HAS

Experience in leading, supervising and mentoring other team members Physically fit to do heavy, repetitive and labour intensive work Knowledge of operating forklift is an asset Knowledge of door and hardware is an asset Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) Strong MS Office Suite, especially in excel Excellent attention to detail Strong troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently and work as a team Strong organizational and time management skills

Pay: $26.00-$28.00 per hour
