Production Assembler

Hamilton, ON, CA, Canada

Job Description

We are a growing HVAC equipment manufacturer specializing in custom air-handling units, make-up air units, and engineered HVAC solutions for commercial and industrial applications. We focus on high-quality builds, sound engineering, and practical, well-documented equipment.

As a small and growing company, we offer a hands-on environment where your work directly impacts the final product -- no layers of bureaucracy, no assembly-line mentality.

We are seeking a Production Assembler to support the mechanical assembly of custom HVAC equipment. This role involves hands-on assembly work, following drawings and instructions, and working closely with technicians and engineering to build equipment from start to finish.

This position is well-suited for someone who enjoys working with tools, building equipment, and seeing a finished product.

Duties

Assemble HVAC equipment and sub-assemblies according to drawings and work instructions. Install components such as panels, frames, fans, motors, dampers, insulation, and hardware. Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently. Assist with material handling, staging, and basic quality checks. Conduct mechanical inspections and troubleshoot assembly issues as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency. Assist with inventory management and warehouse organization when required. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.

Skills

Experience with manufacturing, assembly, or warehouse operations preferred. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment. Knowledge of forklift operation is a plus. Strong mechanical knowledge to understand assembly processes and troubleshoot issues. Ability to read technical drawings or schematics is advantageous. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality standards. Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
This position offers an engaging work environment where technical skills are developed, and teamwork is valued. Candidates should be committed to safety, quality, and efficiency in all aspects of their work.
