Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Foreman to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for constructing and installing metal structures, frameworks, and other components in various settings. This role requires a strong understanding of safety protocols and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The Ironworker will utilize a variety of tools and machinery to ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to project specifications.
Responsibilities
• Coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans
• Background in structural steel erection
• Operate machinery such as AWP's, welding machines, and plasma cutting equipment.
• Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure compliance with safety standards and project requirements.
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure timely project completion.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety regulations.
• Produce schedules and monitor attendance of crew.
• Ensure manpower and resources are adequate.
• Resolve problems when they arise.
• Report on progress to managers.
• Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met.
• Perform basic math calculations for measurements and material estimates.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues as they arise during the construction process.
Qualifications
• At least 10+ years of construction experience.
• Proven experience as an Ironworker or in a similar role within the construction industry.
• Proficiency in operating AWP's, forklifts, and other heavy machinery.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand technical drawings and blueprints.
• Familiarity with welding techniques and equipment is preferred.
• Experience using calipers and machining tools for precise measurements.
• Basic math skills for accurate calculations related to projects.
• Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions while adhering to safety protocols.
• Excellent teamwork skills with a strong commitment to quality workmanship.

Pay: $40.00-$46.00 per hour
