Sovereign Construction Management Limited is adding additional site servicing crews to keep up with customer demand. Sovereign is looking for an experienced
Foreman
to lead our servicing crew for our growing operations across Ontario. This is a key leadership position where you will be responsible for overseeing our crews involved in the installation of sanitary, storm, and water infrastructure on private and public property. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in site servicing, strong leadership skills, and a willingness to travel to job sites across Ontario.
As a Foreman, you will ensure that all projects are executed to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. You will lead and mentor crews while working closely with project managers to meet project goals and timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Crew Leadership & Supervision:
Lead and supervise site servicing crews, ensuring that all crew members are performing to the highest standards in the installation of sanitary, storm, and water infrastructure.
Train, mentor, and develop crew members, promoting a collaborative and safety-first work environment.
Ensure all crew members have the necessary tools, materials, and resources to complete tasks efficiently.
Willingness and ability to do all jobs on the crew when needed
Project Management:
Coordinate with project managers to plan and execute site servicing work, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and specifications.
Monitor project progress and resolve any issues or delays promptly to keep work on schedule.
Quality Control & Safety:
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure the quality of work meets project standards and local regulations.
Enforce strict safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment at all times.
Ensure the proper use and maintenance of tools, machinery, and equipment on-site.
Coordination & Communication:
Serve as the primary point of contact for crew members, project managers, subcontractors, and clients, ensuring clear and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Maintain accurate and timely project documentation, including daily logs and progress reports.
Problem Solving & Troubleshooting:
Quickly identify and resolve issues that may arise on-site, ensuring that solutions are both practical and timely.
Adapt to site-specific challenges while ensuring that the crew adheres to the project plan.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience in the installation of sanitary, storm, and water infrastructure.
Skills:
Proven leadership skills, excellent communication, and problem-solving abilities. Experience in managing multiple crews is an asset.
Technical Knowledge:
Strong technical understanding of site servicing operations, including trenching, drainage, sanitary, storm and water installations. Proficient in the operation and maintenance of heavy machinery (e.g., excavators, dozers, dump trucks).
Additional Requirements:
Must be willing to travel to job sites throughout Ontario.
Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.92-$70.00 per hour
