Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical systems, construction management, and project scheduling. This role requires expertise in blueprint reading, quality control, and the ability to work effectively on construction sites. The Electrician will play a crucial role in ensuring that all electrical installations and repairs meet safety standards and project specifications.

Duties

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in accordance with relevant codes and standards. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical systems. Utilize construction management software such as ProCore and Bluebeam for project tracking and documentation. Conduct quality control inspections to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and safety standards. Collaborate with project managers to develop project schedules using Primavera P6 and HeavyBid. Supervise apprentices or junior electricians on-site to ensure work is completed efficiently and safely. Perform electrical testing using tools such as an ohmmeter to troubleshoot issues effectively. Manage contracts related to electrical work, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints.

Experience

Proven experience in the electrical field with a strong understanding of construction site dynamics. Familiarity with construction management principles, including budgeting, estimating, and scheduling. Experience using construction management software tools such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, and HeavyBid is preferred. Demonstrated ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately. Previous supervisory experience is a plus, showcasing leadership capabilities on construction projects. Knowledge of pipeline installation processes is advantageous. Pay: $50.00-$55.54 per hour
