Primary Purpose of Position:



Priestly Demolition Inc.

is seeking an energetic, results oriented individual who has the ability to prioritize and think on their feet. We are looking for someone who is a team player, with a positive attitude, who is reliable, safety conscious, willing to learn and demonstrates interpersonal skills. The Foreman, reports to the Superintendent and they are responsible for instructing personnel on how to use equipment, reporting on activities, efficiently storing all materials and workplace safety.

Job Duties



Balance team and individual responsibilities to meet the expectations of the crew schedule Contribute to a positive team spirit Complete all necessary administrative duties, such as daily, weekly and monthly paperwork. Examine and inspect work and equipment to verify safety and ensure that specifications are met Organize material and worker requirements to complete jobs; supervising, training & developing employees Coordinate tasks with other departments for the completion of projects. Substitute for workers during worker absence or contribute to work-congested areas Assist workers in resolving problems and evaluating performance Responsible for assisting in reviews of direct reports Assist in the corrective action/progressive disciplinary process for all reports Other duties may be required as needed

Position Requirements



Requirements



High school diploma or equivalent

Two (2) years as a Foreman

Ability to read/write and comprehend shop drawings, short correspondence, and memos

Ability to effectively present information to fellow employees of the organization

Ability to perform basic math functions

Leadership skills; ability to lead meetings and teams

Strong interpersonal and organizations skills

Knowledge of hand and power tools

Proficient in Microsoft Office



Work Conditions



24/7 availability may be required.

Travel to off-site locations may be required.

Safety equipment will be required, e.g. steel-toed safety boots,
Overtime as required.
