Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of food service deliver , maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of roads in the lower mainland and have delivery experience in handling protein to restaurants and grocery stores and experience with commercial driving and freight handling.

Duties

Assist in the loading of food items in accordance with safety and quality standards. Operate a delivery vehicle ensuring proper maintenance and cleanliness Move supplies and products efficiently within the facility, utilizing forklifts and pallet jacks when necessary. Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate food service operations and address any issues that may arise. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to health regulations and safety protocols.

Requirements

Mechanical knowledge is essential for operating vehicles safely. Experience in moving supplies efficiently within a fast-paced environment. Forklift certification is preferred; training may be provided for qualified candidates. Commercial driving experience is a plus for transporting goods as required. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers. Ability to work in a team-oriented environment while maintaining individual responsibilities.
