Adecco is currently hiring for a Food Technologist QA & PD, in Toronto, ON. Recent graduates from a food sciences program from Canadian accredited colleges and /or universities are encouraged to apply! Duties and Responsibilities: * Supporting of new product development and QA activities

• Working closely with Director - PD & QA to meet project requirements
• Development activities which include preparing, evaluating, and testing of samples of raw materials
• Inputting of data into nutrition labeling software
• Supervising the company's production test batches and documenting their development activities
• Contributing to formulation development; project management and the development of specifications for new finished goods and raw materials
• Reviewing quality and production documents
• Conducting GMP audits, help with managing/updating SOP's, managing HACCP documents, and assisting in internal and external audits.

Qualifications: * Undergrad university degree is required with an emphasis in food science, nutrition, or microbiology

• Organized, efficient, energetic with a willingness to learn
• Follows the scientific method and lab best practices
• Innovative with an interest in food product development and culinary arts
• Works well with colleagues and clients
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Computer literate
• Some familiarity with Canadian and US food regulations an asset
• Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
