Experience in institutional food service operation will be an asset
Food Handler Certificate preferred
Applicants must be able to speak, read and write English and be capable of following oral and written instructions thoroughly
Ability to perform related duties including standing, bending, walking and pushing carts through the department and hospital
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to maintain a friendly disposition with patients
Neat appearance, good attendance and work record are essential
Able to work in a refrigerated environment
Must wear safety shoes
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Delivering and serving meals to patients
Working on a belt line
Preparing patient meals/meal trays with dietary restrictions
Operating microwave/convection ovens
Operating and maintaining dish cleaning machines
Assisting with inventory as required
Delivering and retrieving meal carts and supplies
Pushing food supply carts between dock and department
Handling garbage bags
Maintaining work area/equipment to meet sanitation and safety standards
Reports directly to Food Services Supervisors
WAGE RATE: Hourly: $23.59...$24.61...$25.62 (plus 14% in lieu of benefits)
HOURS OF WORK: Rotating Shifts Monday to Sunday; Days, Afternoons, Weekends and Holidays
