The Opportunity:

The

Food Service Worker

position is a valuable member of our Production team and is committed to equity, diversity, and inclusion; client-centred care; integrity; kindness; quality; respect; and teamwork. This position reports to the Production Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

Primary responsibilities include working with our meal assembly team; assisting in the preparation, portioning, and packaging of client menu items while following established safe food handling procedures; and assisting in various areas as needed. The ability to work on a fast-paced production line is essential as well as the ability to manage repetitive work duties.

Education, Experience and Qualifications:

Proficient in spoken English Previous Food Service Aide experience an asset Must be comfortable standing for long periods of time Preference will be given to those who have previous Food Safety Training Knowledge of WHMIS standards Clean police record and Vulnerable Sector Search Clean 3-year Drivers Abstract Proficient in spoken and written English
Calgary Meals on Wheels values a casual, friendly environment that recognizes the importance of work/life balance. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 6:00AM to 2:00PM.
