Alongside the picturesque Colpoys Bay in Wiarton 100 residents call Gateway Haven Home. Both homes were built in 2003, replacing existing Homes for the Aged, thereby continuing a tradition of quality care in Bruce County.

Reporting to the Dietary Services Manager, the Cook/Food Service Worker contributes to the efficient operation of the department with responsibility to produce high quality meals in a safe and sanitary environment This position is key to the facility, preparing and serving meals to the residents of the home in a pleasant and respectful manner. The successful candidate will be genuinely interested in caring for the elderly, in good physical condition (able to lift up to fifty pounds), and be able to work independently when required.Weekend and shift work is required.Salary & BenefitsSalary:
The starting wage rate for the Cook position is $27.22 per hour
The starting wage rate for the Food Service Worker position is $25.17 per hourHours:
