Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to oversee daily operations in our food service establishment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation, customer service, and team management. This role requires excellent time management skills and the ability to ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards while providing exceptional dining experiences for our customers.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily food service operations, ensuring high standards of quality and efficiency. Train, mentor, and manage staff in food preparation, serving techniques, and customer service practices. Oversee cash handling procedures and ensure accurate transactions using POS systems, including Givex POS. Maintain compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards to ensure a safe dining environment. Assist with food preparation and serving as needed, demonstrating strong kitchen experience. Implement upselling techniques to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as necessary. Address customer inquiries or complaints promptly and professionally to maintain a positive dining experience.

Requirements

Proven experience in the food industry, preferably in a supervisory role within a restaurant setting. Strong knowledge of food handling practices, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations. Proficient in using POS systems, particularly Givex POS, along with basic math skills for cash handling. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on enhancing the guest experience. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating leadership qualities. Previous experience in food preparation, serving, or cashiering is highly desirable. Pay: $18.60-$19.60 per hour
