Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced food service environment. You will assist with food preparation, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and sanitary work area while ensuring that all food safety standards are met. Your ability to manage time effectively and provide a positive dining experience will be essential to our success.

Duties

Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and portion sizes. Operate the POS system, including Micros POS, for processing customer transactions efficiently. Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Handle cash transactions accurately while following cash handling procedures. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards in all food handling practices. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas, including regular cleaning of equipment and utensils. Assist in upselling menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during peak hours.

Requirements

Previous experience in the food service industry or restaurant setting is preferred. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety practices. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members. Proficient in basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing. Time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a busy environment. Familiarity with POS systems, specifically Micros POS, is a plus but not required. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Must be able to lift moderate weights and stand for extended periods. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.50-$18.00 per hour
